Already, the Recovery Act has created or saved over 150,000 jobs, cut taxes for 95 percent of working families and made funds available for over 4,000 transportation projects that put people back to work.

The White House has launched a new web page - WhiteHouse.gov/Recovery - that allows the public to track the effect of the Recovery Act on their communities. The new site includes detailed maps spotlighting Recovery Roadmap projects planned in neighborhoods across the country and provides opportunities for visitors to report on progress through comments, photos and videos.

The President and his team believe that transparency and accountability are the touchstones of the recovery, and the Administration invites Americans across the country to observe this process closely and provide feedback.
